WindShape at Ceatec Tokyo

WindShape was invited by the Swiss Confederation to showcase their technology at Japan’s No 1 Technology event, CEATECH 2019.

“CEATEC 2019” – Japan’s foremost technology event, was held for the 20th time at Makuhari Messe, Mihama-ku, Chiba City. The event recorded 144,491 registered visitors and 787 exhibitors/ groups from a wide range of industries, including:  Finance, Travel, Toys, Housing, Machine tools, Construction, Telecommunications, Healthcare, IT and Electronics. There were 250 companies that gathered from all over the world, including Switzerland, Russia, China, Taiwan, India and the United States.

WindShape and it’s innovative technology was invited to attend and exhibit CEATECH 2019 by the Swiss Confederation. This event marked WindShape’s first opportunity to showcase it’s technology to the Asian market.

The Swiss Confederation selected WindShape for its innovative digital wind tunnel approach, capturing performance data from drones using Swiss technology. The technology was differentiated and uniquely represented because of its ability to recreate variable flight conditions and test drones in free flight within a controlled environment.

This event provided an environment and platform for special projects such as “smart life” and “mobility” ; that invited the attendees to “see,” “listen,” “feel,” and “think” about the future.
