About the Company
WindShape is a leading aerospace company dedicated to advancing Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) testing, inspection and certification. The company is headquartered in Switzerland, and we are in the process of setting up a state-of-the-art UAS test facility in Oklahoma to provide comprehensive testing, inspection, validation and certification services to the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Test Center to lead the establishment and operation of this new facility.
Position Overview
As the Director of Test Center, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction, management, and successful operation of our UAS test facility. This multifaceted role will involve project management during the construction phase, testing services for our inaugural customers, team recruitment, and eventual Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility.

Responsibilities
Construction Phase
– Lead the coordination and execution of the construction phase of the test facility.
– Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure facility readiness.
Operations Management
– Oversee day-to-day operations of the test facility.
– Implement best practices for safety, quality, efficiency, and confidentiality.
– Develop and maintain operational procedures and protocols.
– Comprehensively oversee the end-to-end customer journey and establish smooth processes with relevant stakeholders.
Testing Services
– Develop and conduct UAS testing services for our customers.
– Manage and optimize the testing schedule.
– Ensure testing procedures comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Recruitment and Management
– Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
– Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and safety.
P&L Responsibility
– Develop and manage the budget for the testing center.
– Monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
– Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge in UAS or aerospace technology and testing methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
